The Latvian youth exchange, happened from 9th-15th of April, in Rezekne (Latvia). A variety of non-formal education methods were used during the exchange: get to know each other activities, group work, team building activities, brainstorming and there were also short activities (energizers), which provided additional energy to the participants.

During the exchange there were presentations about the participants' countries, and topics such as Europe’s challenges nowadays, Political system, elections for the European Parliament, young people's lives within the EU.

Using these methods, the youth exchange had an interactive and social character where participants learned how to work as a team, share their opinions and ideas in a democratic way and learned from each other.

Therefore, through a series of interactive sessions, participants obtained a theoretical and practical background on this topic getting closer to the goal of raising awareness about European issues, European elections and Europe’s future.
